Image Retention

Image Retention can be an issue for all plasma monitors, however if you follow the simple guidelines listed below, you can enjoy many years of viewing.

YAMAHA has included a number of features in our range of plasma monitors which help to reduce image retention. Please refer to the user manual for this model for instruction on how to use these features.

*Ensure screen save mode is activated.

*Always display the image in a mode that fills the screen.

*Avoid using split screen modes for long periods of time.

*Do not allow the “On Screen Display” to stay on for long periods of time.

*Do not display still images, such as menus from game consoles, Teletext, PCs or logos on the monitor for long periods of time.

*We recommend that you reduse “Contrast” and “Brightness” levels as much as possible.

La rétention peut être un problème pour les écrans Plasma, néanmoins si vous suivez les simples instructions suivantes, vous pourrez profiter de votre écrans pendant de longues années.

YAMAHA a pourvu ses écrans moniteurs plasma de fonctions permettant de réduire la rétention d’image. Veuillez s’il vous plaît vérifier dans le mode d’emploi de ce modèle comment utiliser ces fonctions.

*Assurez vous que I’économiseur d’écran est bien activé.

*Vérifiez toujours que le format d’image que vous utilisez est constamment adapté à I’écran.

*Evitez d’utiliser le mode de séparation d’écran sur une longue période.

*Ne pas laisser le menu à I’écran affiché pendant de longues périodes.

*Ne pas afficher des images fixes, comme les menus des jeux vidéo, télétexte, ordinateurs ou Logos sur I’écran pendant de longues périodes.

*Nous vous recommandons également de régler le contraste et la luminosité à un niveau le plus faible possible.
