General setup options (default settings)

If you want your Wave/PC system to automatically play music when you turn on your com- puter, place a check next to “Launch Wave/PC application when Windows starts.”

Normally, the Wave/PC clock is synchronized to your computer’s clock. If you do not want these clocks synchronized, remove the check next to “Synchronize Wave/PC clock with com- puter’s clock.” In this case, you will need to set the Wave/PC clock manually on the control panel of the Wave/PC unit. See “Setting the clock time” on page 49.

Tooltips are small pop-up windows that appear when you hover the cursor over a control. They contain a short description of the control. Normally, tooltips are displayed unless you deselect “Display tooltips for controls” and/or “Display tooltips for Station tables and Music Finder windows.”

When checked, the calibrated volume settings are restored whenever the Wave/PC applica- tion is launched. Volume settings were calibrated when you installed this software.
