Computer System Requirements
You can use any Web browser, such as Microsoft® Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator®, with your SURFboard Digital Voice Modem.
For Microsoft Windows computers, the Installation Assistant application automatically checks your system configuration. You can start the Installation Assistant from the Main Menu on the SURFboard Voice Modem

The original version of Windows® 98, Windows® NT, UNIX, Linux, or Macintosh computers must use the Ethernet connection.
If you use an Ethernet card, it must be installed in your computer before you install your SBV5222 digital voice modem. If it is not installed, follow the installation instructions provided with your Ethernet card.
USB Connection
You can use the USB connection with any PC running Windows® 2000 or Windows XP™ that has a USB interface.
