Setting Up Your VCR

8The hour numbers and the am/pm indicator will be blinking. Press the ADJUST buttons to set the hour and am/pm at the same time. Pressing ADJUST + moves the clock forward; pressing ADJUST – moves the clock backward. Press ENTER.

9Press the ADJUST buttons to set the minutes. When you have set the correct time, press ENTER. First Time Set-Up menu will appear, and the clock will start running.

10Press MENU twice to turn off the menus.

You can adjust the daylight saving time manually. When Daylight savings is highlighted, press the ADJUST buttons to select ON or OFF.

If you select ON, the VCR will set the clock forward one hour. If you select OFF, the VCR will set the clock back one hour.

IMPORTANT

Any time you adjust this setting, check your programmed recordings to be sure they are set to the correct times.

If you have a Mitsubishi TV with StarSight® feature, the TV can set the time on your VCR. See your TV Owner’s Guide for details.

To allow StarSight® to do this, you must set the VCR’s Clock set to MANUAL, and the VCR’s A/V Network setting to ACTIVE.
