To connect to an amplifier/receiver equipped with 5.1-channel inputs

The unit supports the linear PCM multichannel format of DVD Audio and can feed multichannel audio output signals from the 6 ANALOG AUDIO OUT jacks.

It is also equipped with the DTS and Dolby digital decoders. So you can enjoy any type of the high quality surround sounds by connecting the unit to an amplifier/receiver equipped with the 5.1-channel inputs.
