1TITLE/GROUP indicator

Displays the current title/group number.

2CHAPTER/TRACK indicator

Displays the current chapter/track number.

3STEP indicator

Displays the current step number of the program.

4Audio format indicators

Indicates the format of audio currently being played back.

5B.S.P. and BONUS indicators

When the current DVD Audio disc contains B.S.P. (browsable still picture), “B.S.P.” lights.

When the current DVD Audio disc contains a BONUS group, “BONUS” lights.

6Disc type indicator

Indicates the type of the disc loaded. “DVD” lights when a DVD Audio or DVD Video disc is loaded, “CD” lights when an Audio CD is loaded, and “VCD” lights when a Video CD is loaded.

7Function indicators

Each indicator lights when the corresponding function is active.

8Time selection indicator

Shows the time mode indicated in the Multi- information window.

9Multi-information window Displays time and status information.

0Audio channel indicators

Indicates audio channels currently being played back.

2AUDIO OUT - DIGITAL (PCM/STREAM) jacks (16)

1AUDIO OUT - ANALOG jacks (13, 14, 15, 16) Outputs the multichannel signals of a DVD Audio disc recorded by the linear PCM multichannel format or a DVD Video disc recorded by the Dolby Digital surround or DTS format. FRONT jacks also output stereo analog audio signals.

2AUDIO OUT - DIGITAL (PCM/STREAM) jacks (16) Output digital audio signals. Both coaxial and optical connectors are provided.

3AV COMPU LINK jacks (49)

Connect with other JVC equipment supporting the AV Compulink function to facilitate integrated operations.

4VIDEO OUT - VIDEO jack (13) Outputs a composite video signal.

5VIDEO OUT - S-VIDEO jack (13, 14) Outputs an S-video signal.

6VIDEO OUT - COMPONENT jacks (Y/PB/PR) (14) Output component video signals. These jacks can handle the Progressive scan output as well as the conventional Interlace output.

7SCAN MODE selector (13, 14)

Selects the scan mode between 525p (Progressive scan) and 525i (Interlace scan = conventional scan type). See page 14 for the detail about the scan mode.

8 AC IN connector (16)

Connects to the wall outlet using the supplied AC power cord.
