2 Press and hold 8for more than 1 second.

Nine continuous still pictures appear on the TV screen.

To zoom in/out [ZOOM]

Pressing 8 when the nine still pictures appear advances to the next still picture.

To cancel strobe play

Press and hold 8 for more than 1 second.

NOTE

If you press and hold 8 for more than 1 second during playback, nine still pictures also appear but they advance in realtime.

To playback in slow-motion [SLOW]

1 Press 8, then use the SHUTTLE knob.

To play forward slow-motion, turn the SHUTTLE knob to the right. To play reverse slow-motion (for DVD Video discs only), turn it to the left. The more you turn the knob, the more the slow-motion speed increases.

To return to normal playback Press 3.

To pause slow-motion playback Release the SHUTTLE knob.

NOTES

The sound is muted during slow-motion playback.

Reverse slow-motion playback is not possible for a Video CD.

7 During playback or while paused

1 Press ZOOM + or –.

The unit zooms in by pressing ZOOM + or zooms out by pressing ZOOM –.

Each time you press ZOOM +, the magnification is doubled (up to x 1024).

Each time you press ZOOM –, the magnification is halved (down x to 1/8).

At the top-left of the screen, the information for the current magnification appears, as well as the zoomed-in position of the scene that can be moved by operating the next step.

2 Use CURSOR 5/°/2/3to move the zoomed-in position.

To return to normal playback Press ENTER.

• While zoomed in, the picture may look coarse.
