OTHER FUNCTIONS

Auto P.Size

The Auto P.Size is designed for HDMI INPUT interface.

Follow the steps on page 21, 22 to enter the menu, then access the Function menu and select the Auto P.Size option. Press the ŻŹ cursor buttons to change between On and Off.

1. With the signals such as 576i, 576p, 480i and 480p from the HDMI INPUT interface on INPUT1

button, the aspect mode will switch between six different modes,

4:3

Expanded

4:3Zoom1

and

4:3Zoom2 . If you change program No. or power on the TV,

the aspect mode will not change.

There are three cases as shown below. 1)The aspect ratio of HDMI signal is 4:3

If you change program No. or power on the TV, the aspect mode of the TV will not change. 2)The aspect ratio of HDMI signal is LETTER

If you change program No. or power on the TV, the aspect mode of the TV will automatically return to the

mode of 4:3Zoom1 .

3)The aspect ratio of HDMI signal is 16:9

If you change program No. or power on the TV, the aspect mode of the TV will automatically return to the mode of 16:9 .

2. With the signals such as 1080i and 720p from the HDMI INPUT interface on INPUT1

To press the P.SIZE button, the aspect mode will switch between three different modes, 16:9 , 16:9Zoom and Expanded . If you change program No. or power on the TV, the aspect mode of the TV will return to the mode of 16:9 .

Notes

1In multi picture, pressing the P.SIZE button does not function.

2Do not watch TV at non full screen, as this may cause damage to your PRT.

3Using this special function (aspect mode) to change the size of image displayed (i.e., change the ratio of height and width) for the purpose of public release or some commercial interests may infringe the copyright law.
