STANDBY-ON y Button Press to turn the DVD Player’s power on or off.

PREV H and NEXT G Buttons

Press to go to previous or subsequent Tracks or Chapters. Press and hold for about 2 seconds for a fast forward or reverse search.

PLAY B Button

Press to play a Disc.

STOP C Button

Press to stop Disc playback.

OPEN/CLOSE A Button

Press to open or close the Disc tray.

Insert a Disc here.

Remote Sensor (IR - infrared) Receives a signal from your remote control so you can operate your DVD Player from a distance.

Display with Dimmer Messages about current DVD Player operations appear here. See Display Messages below.

You can adjust the brightness of the display. Details are on pages 46-47.

Power is turning on.

Appears after the disc tray closes if the tray is empty, if there is an error reading the disc, or if an unacceptable disc is installed.

Tray is opening or is open.

Tray is closing.

Disc is loading.

Power is turning off.

Playback control is active (Video CD).
