Scaler-Initiated Messages

When a local event such as power-up or a front panel operation occurs, the scaler responds by sending a message to the host. The scaler-initiated messages are listed in the following pages. The messages are underlined.

Any time

Reconfig

The reconfig message is initiated by the scaler when a front panel operation has occurred or a memory preset has been recalled.

Power-up

The copyright message is initiated by the scaler when it is first powered on. Vx.xx is the firmware version number.

Input selection

InX1 All

A front panel video and audio switching operation has occurred. number.

X1

is the input

Input and output video type

Typ X2

A front panel input 2 video type selection has occurred. X2

Rte X3 * X4

A front panel output video format selection has occurred. resolution and X4 is the output refresh rate.

Tpo X5

A front panel output video type selection has occurred. X5 format (RGB or component [Y, R-y, B-y]).

Pol X6

A front panel output video polarity selection has occurred. polarity.

Freeze

Pol X7

The freeze feature has been turned on or off from the front panel. status.

Hph

A front panel horizontal centering adjustment has occurred.

A front panel vertical centering adjustment has occurred.

A front panel horizontal size adjustment has occurred.
