HARD-DRIVE MANAGEMENT

It is possible to enable (and disable) the hard-drive to prolong its performance. In addition, you have the option to ERASE the hard-drive or just the TIMESHIFT buffer.

To access the DIGITAL RECORDER menu, press the key. The following options will appear.

Move the joystick to highlight the Diagnostics option. Now press the key to enter.

Disk Capacity

Existing Recordings

Free Space

Also given is the duration of existing recordings and other recording timers yet to be performed.

As shown, using on the joystick allows you to enable and disable the internal hard-drive.

The hard-drive can be erased by pressing the yellow key. Once completed your set-top box will perform a basic restart.

Pressing the green button will erase only the time-shift buffer not utilized by the recordings.
