3SEARCH MODE
Images stored in the recording areas can be searched and played back in search mode. Furthermore, five different search methods are available for doing so.
Basic operation
1 In live mode (When playback is stopped), click the button on the operation panel.
The SEARCH screen is displayed.
2 Select and click the desired search mode from the SEARCH screen.
The screen for the selected search mode is displayed.
3 Search for images using the search mode screen.
See the following pages for more details regarding the different search procedures.
4 Check the returned images using the preview or thumbnail display and then click the screen.
Play mode will be activated and the playback of the full image will start. See “Performing operations in play mode” (JP. 29) for more details regarding still image, fast- forward, and other similar operations.

zIf the normal recording area is “*0%”, it will not be possible to select “ALARM SEARCH”, “ALARM THUMBNAIL SEARCH”, or “MOTION DETECTION SEARCH”.
