Normal Picture (4:3)

Normal

Choose when you want to view a picture with an original 4:3 aspect ratio on your 16:9 TV. Black bars will show at the left and right sides.

Wide

Choose when you want evenly stretch the width of a normal picture to fill a wide screen to fill the entire screen. You may find this setting useful for viewing 4:3 for- matted DVD pictures.

Panorama

Choose when you want stretch the edges of a normal picture to fill a wide screen.

Zoom1

Choose when you want to fill the entire screen with the picture. The image will be altered both horizontally (stretched) and vertically (cropped). The top and bottom portions of the picture will not be shown. Zoom1 shows you the picture with a trade- off between distortion and screen coverage.

Zoom2

Choose when you want to view the picture without distortion. Some of the top and bot- tom portions of the picture will be deleted.
