Cautions:

Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type.

Do not use rechargeable batteries.

Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries (standard or alkaline).

Always remove old or weak batteries. Batteries can leak chemicals that can destroy electronic parts.

Note: Do not press any of the remote control’s keys while installing batteries.

Follow these steps to install batteries.

1.Press the battery compartment cover’s tab and lift off the cover.

2.Place the batteries in the compartment as indi- cated by the polarity symbols (+ and –) marked inside.

3.Replace the cover.

When batteries become low, the remote control stops operating to protect stored settings. Replacing the bat- teries with new ones restores full functionality and does not require you to reprogram your remote con- trol.

Warning: Dispose of old batteries promptly and prop- erly. Do not burn or bury them.

Caution: If you do not plan to use the remote for a month or longer, remove the batteries. Batteries can leak chemicals that can destroy electronic parts.

Note: Do not place objects on top of the remote con- trol after you have installed the batteries. This can de- press keys for an extended period of time and reduce the battery life.
