6 DVD Setup Menu
Before You Start
4Use 2/3/5/∞ to select a title, or use the numeric buttons to enter the title number next to SELECT.
•Press 4/¢ to access the previous/ next page.
•ON – The index menu (if available) will appear on the TV when you load a VCD/ SVCD.
•OFF – The VCD/SVCD will skip the index menu and playback directly from the beginning.

To quit the preview function
•Use 2/3/5/∞ to highlight EXIT and press ENTER to confirm.
To return to the preview menu
•Use 2/3/5/∞ to highlight MENU and press ENTER to confirm.
MP3/JPEG NAV
•Default setting: WITHOUT MENU
MP3/JPEG Navigator can only be set if the disc is recorded with a menu. It allows you to select different display menus for easy navigation.
•WITHOUT MENU – Displays all the files contained in the MP3/Picture disc.
•WITH MENU – Displays the folder menu of the MP3/Picture disc.
Note
•This DVD system can only display 650 files/folder in the directory.
PASSWORD
The password is used for both Parental Control and Disc Lock. Enter your

Playing Discs DVD Setup Menu Additional Information
DIVX SUBTITLE
You can set the font type that supports the recorded DivX subtitle.
•Default setting: STANDARD
STANDARD
Albanian, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, Gaelic, German, Italian, Kurdish (Latin), Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish.
CYRILLIC
Bulgarian, Belorussian, English, Macedonian, Moldavian, Russian, Serbian and Ukrainian.
Note
•Supported subtitle extensions for DivX are “.srt”, “.smi”, “.sub”, “.ssa”, “.ass”.
PBC
•Default setting: ON
The Play Back Control feature is applicable for VCD/SVCD only. It allows you to play Video CDs (2.0) interactively, following the menu on the display.

•When doing this for the first time or if you forget your existing password, key in “111111”.

DEFAULT
This feature enables you to reset all the setup menu options and your personal settings to the factory defaults, except your password for Parental Control and Disc Lock. Press ENTER to confirm the default reset.
