To display the angle icon

Some DVD video discs contain movies recorded from up to 9 alternative angles, and while the disc is playing you can choose which angle to watch from.

You can choose to have an angle icon displayed on the screen to show if a scene has been recorded from multiple angles.

Highlight ANGLE ICON in the DISPLAY menu, and press

ENTER.

The ANGLE ICON menu is displayed:

To set the default subtitle language

DVD video discs can include subtitles in up to 32 different languages.

Some DVD video discs also include special subtitles for hearing impaired users (extended features), describing the sounds in the soundtrack.

The 586 DVD Player allows you to select whether subtitles are displayed by default, and specify the preferred language if it is available on the disc.

Highlight SUBTITLE in the DISPLAY menu, and press ENTER.

Press < or > to turn the angle icon ON or OFF, and press
