Configuring the 586 DVD Player

To configure specific options

●Switch off the 586, using the power switch on the back panel.

●Switch on the power again while holding down the display key on the front panel.

Config

The display will show:

●Press Display until the display shows the current value of the option you want to change.

Fan Auto

For example:

To change the video output format

You can change the active video output using the Video toggle configuration option, enabling you to use the on-screen menus if you do not have the Composite video output connected.

This changes the active video output between S-Video and COMPONENT video.

●While in Config mode press Off.

Video toggle

The display will show:

●Press [ or ] to set the value you want.

When you have configured all the settings you want to change:

●Switch off the 586, using the power switch on the back panel.
