Operating a cable box or DBS receiver

Programming the remote

You can program the supplied remote control to operate a cable box or DBS receiver.

1Press CODE SET.

2Press DBS/CABLE (FUNCTION).

3Use the 0-9 buttons to key in the manufacturer's code number from the following chart.

4Press ENTER.

If the remote control doesn’t work

First, try repeating the setup procedures using the other codes listed for your equipment.

Ifmorethanonecodenumberislisted,tryentering themonebyoneuntilyoucometothecorrectcodefor yourequipment.

Ifyouenteranewcodenumber,thecodenumberyou previouslyenteredatthatsettingiserased.

Insomerarecases,youmaynotbeabletooperate yourequipmentwiththesuppliedremotecontrol.In thiscase,usetheequipment’sownremotecontrol unit.

Wheneveryouremovethebatteriesthecodenumbers mayreverttothefactorysettingandmustbereset.
