Chapter 6: Using the TV’s features

Setting the sleep timer

You can set the sleep timer to turn off the TV after a set length of time (maximum of 12h50m).

To set the sleep timer:

Press [on the remote control to set the length of time until the TV turns off. Repeatedly press [to increase the time in 10-minute increments, or press B or b to increase or decrease the time in 10-minute increments, up to 12h50m.

To cancel the sleep timer:

Press [until it is set to 00h00m.

To set the sleep timer using the on-screen menus:

1 Press Yand open the Timer menu.

2 Press B or b to highlight Sleep Timer.

3 Press the Number buttons (0–9) or C or c to enter the length of time until the TV turns off automatically.

4 Press Oto start the timer.

Note:

When a power failure occurs, the sleep timer setting may be cleared.

To display the amount of time remaining on the sleep timer, press E.

Setting the On timer

To set the On timer to turn on the TV automatically:

You can set the On timer in 10-minute increments, up to 12h50m.

4 Press Oto start the timer.

5 Press pto turn off the TV.

The TV will turn on automatically after the length of time you set in the On timer.

Note:
