BEFORE PLAYBACK _____________________________
Preparation
1Switch on the television and select the preset channel for the DVD player.
2If an audio system or an AV receiver is connected to the DVD player, switch it on and select the audio input for the DVD player.
3Press »ON/OFF« on the DVD player to switch it to standby.
–The red indicator on the DVD player lights up.
4Switch on the DVD player by pressing »« on the device or »9« on the remote control.
–Display on DVD player and television: »n o d i s c «.
Inserting a disc
1Press »« on the DVD player, or
press and hold down »7« on the remote control.
–Display: »«, the disc tray opens.
2Insert the disc you want to play in the disc compartment with the label facing upwards.
3Press »« on the DVD player, or
press and hold down »7« on the remote control.
–Display: » «, the disc tray retracts again, then »....«, and the disc is read.
–DVD player display: The elapsed playing time of the disc.
Notes:
Playback of a DVD, VCD, SVCD, KODAK Picture CD or audio CD (CDDA) starts automatically.
