USB OPERATION----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Connecting external  data media

Before connecting the data medium, switch the television to standby using »8«. Connect the device and then switch the television on again.

Before removing the external data medium, the television set must be switched to standby, so that no data loss occurs.

Notes:

7The »USB1« socket of the television set

supplies a maximum power of 500 mA in accordance with USB specifications. Exter- nal hard disks which require more power may therefore only be connected to the »USB2 (HDD)« of the television set.

7If you use a network cable for external hard disks which are connected to the »USB2 (HDD)« socket on the television, this net- work cable must also be disconnected from the power supply when the television is switched off.

7External data media may not be disconnect- ed from the television set while files on the data medium are being accessed.

7A bi-directional data transfer as defined for ITE (Information Technology Equipment)

devices in EN 55022/EN 55024 is not possible.

7USB transfer is not in itself an operating mode. It is only an additional function.

1Connect the »USB2 (HDD)« socket of the television and the corresponding socket on the data device (external hard drive, digital camera, card reader or MP3 player) using a USB cable;

or

insert the USB plug of the USB memory stick into the »USB1« socket of the television set.

2Confirm the display » « with »« (green).
