1 Repeat steps 1 to 4 of [1] MPAA RATING to access V- CHIP select move.

1 Press MENU to access MAIN MENU screen.

2 Press CH UP (8) or DOWN (9) to move the “ : ” mark to “PARENT CONTROL”.

3 Press VOL (+) or (–)to access PARENT CONTROL mode. (The “ : ” mark move to “V-CHIP BLOCK”)

3 Press VOL (+) or (–)to access TV GUIDELINES mode.

•Higher ratings and their CONTENT are blocked when a lower rating is set to BLOCK. Refer to example 1 in TV PARENTAL GUIDELINES section of V-CHIP operation on page 15.

•Higher ratings are blocked when a lower rating is set to BLOCK. Refer to examples 1 and 2 in MPAA RATING section of V-CHIP operation on page 15.

NOTE:

•If FCC data of a TV program contains only the AGE rating but not the CONTENT rating, then CONTENT settings have no effect.

•Controlling only by the CONTENT rating works best if each AGE rating is unblocked. Refer to example 2 in TV PARENTAL GUIDELINES section of V-CHIP operation on page 15.
