DISPLAYING ON-SCREEN HELP

When you are at the Main Menu--the family room--press Help in the upper left corner of the family room to display reminders of the locations of all available menus.

Menu Help

Every menu has a Help command. If you select it, detailed information appears about the choices available in that menu.

For example,

1.PressMENU to bring up the Main Menu.

2.In the family room, point to the remote control and press MENU. The Channel menu appears.

3.Use the move buttons to point to Help and press MENU. Helpful information relating to the Channel menu appears.

Context Sensitive Help

This ProScan TV also provides Context-Sensitive Help. The TV knows the buttons you press and will offer information tailored to your needs. To use Context-Sensitive Help:

1.PressMENU to bring up the Main Menu.

2.In the family room, point to the screen and press MENU. The Screen menu appears.

3.Point to a command, Closed Cap Disp for example.

4.Helpful information about the command appears in the lower right of the screen. For example, if you highlighted Closed Cap Disp, this message appears at the bottom of the screen:

Press < or > to turn the display

on, off, or on when sound is muted.

[If you select the reduced graphics op- ] tion in the Assistance menu, the con-

text sensitive help is not displayed.
