CONTROL PANELS

Control panels can contain different types of controls, such as numeric entry, sliders, and checkboxes, that let you adjust the TV. A slider in a

control panel works just like a slider in a menu. Numeric entry and checkboxes are described below.

Numeric Entry

A control panel with a numeric entry control allows you to enter numbers and letters.

For example, to set the current time:

1.PressMENU to bring up the Living Room Main Menu.

2.Point to ]]me (the clock) and press MENU. The Time Menu appears.

3.Point to Set Time and Day. The Set Time and Day numeric entry control panel appears to the right of the menu.

4.Press MENU. The plus sign and the hours and minutes field are highlighted.

5.Press MENU repeatedly, or press and hold MENU for 'fastmode', to set the time forward. To set the time back, point to the minus sign and press MENU.

6.Pressthe right arrow to move to the next column, then press MENU to switch between AM and PM.

7.Pressthe right arrow to move to the next column, then press MENU repeatedly to move the day forward. Point to the minus sign and press MENU to move the day backwards.

. When you have entered the correct time, press the left arrow to return to Set Time and Day.

9. PressCLEAR to return to normal viewing.
