El símbolo del rayo con punta en forma de flecha dentro de un triángulo equilátero, está destinado para alertar al usuario de la presencia de "voltaje peligroso" sin aislar dentro de la cubierta del producto que podría ser de magnitud suficiente para constituir un riesgo de choque eléctrico a las personas.

El signo de exclamación dentro del triángulo equilátero tiene la intención de alertar al usuario de la pres - encia de importantes instrucciones de operación y mantenimiento (servicio) en la literatura que acom- paña este producto.

Este recordatorio intenta atraer la atención del instalador del sis- tema CATV de acuerdo al artículo 820-40 del Código Eléctrico Nacional (U.S.A.). El código provee instrucciones para la correc- ta conexión y, en particular, especifica que la conexión a tierra debe ser conectada al sistema de cableado a tierra del edificio, tan cercano al punto de entrada del cable como sea factible.

INFORMACIîN DE REGLAMENTACIîN:

Este equipo ha sido probado y cumple con los límites estableci- dos para un dispositivo digital de Clase B, según la parte 15 de las Normas de la FCC. Estos límites han sido diseñados para ofrecer una protección razonable contra interferencias perjudi- ciales cuando el equipo es operado en una instalación residen- cial. Este equipo genera, usa y puede emitir energía de radiofre- cuencia y, si no se instala y utiliza de acuerdo con el manual de instrucciones, puede ocasionar interferencia perjudiciales a las comunica-ciones de radio. Sin embargo, no existe garantía que

no se presenten interferencias en una instalación en particular. Si este equipo causa interferencias perjudiciales en la recepción de radio o televisión, lo que se puede comprobar apagando y encen- diendo el equipo, se aconseja al usuario que trate de corregir la interferencia con una o más de las siguientes medidas :

•Cambie la orientación o reubique la antena receptora.

•Aumente la separación entre el equipo y el receptor.

•Conecte el equipo a un tomacorriente en un circuito diferente al que se encuentra conectado el receptor.

•Consulte a su distribuidor o un técnico experto en radio/TV para obtener ayuda.

Todo cambio o modificaciones que no estén expresamente aproba- dos por la parte responsable del cumplimiento puede anular la autorización del usuario para operar el equipo.
