4. Day-to-day operation

Switching on

Switch on the TV set with the mains switch. It is now in the standby state and the red standby indi- cator lights. Select any desired programme posi- tion with the numeric keys on the remote control.

Alternatively, you can switch on the TV set by pressing the key. In this case, the programme you were watching when the TV set was switched off is again selected.

Switching off

Press the on the remote control to switch the set to the standby state or switch the set off completely with the mains switch.

Programme selection

You can select the programme positions with the numeric keys, by stepping through the positions with the "P+" and "P-" keys or by selecting a pro- gramme from the station table.

Open the station table by pressing the "INFO"

key, use the cursor key to select the des- ired station and press the "INFO" key to close the station table.

Adjusting the volume

The volume can be adjusted with the – + key.
