RAM DVD-R

You can give names to recorded titles, etc.

The maximum number of characters:

• If a name is long, parts of it may not be shown in some screens.

Preparation

• Release protection before proceeding: - Cartridge (p. 7) RAM

- Disc (p. 63) RAM

•Repeat this step to enter other characters.

„To erase a character

Press ŸźŻŹ to select the character in the name field and press PAUSE.

•You can also erase characters by selecting “ERASE” and pressing ENTER.

„Using the NUMBER keys to enter characters

e.g., entering the letter “R”
		5	J		K		L
a. Press 7 to move to the 7th row.	7	6	M	7	N	7	O
b. Press 7 twice to highlight “R”.
		7	P		Q		R	S
c. Press ENTER.
„ To enter a space		8	T		U		V

Press CANCEL and press ENTER.

3 Press STOP.

•You can also finish entering the title by selecting “SET” and pressing

ENTER.

•Returns to the previously displayed screen.

„To end partway

Press RETURN.

• Text is not saved.

Note:

•The full title is shown in the Properties screen (pp. 58, 62), but if you enter a long title, only part of it is shown in the program list or play list screen.

•DVD-RIf you enter a long title, only part of it is shown in the menu screen after finalization.
