To install the DX8100 I/O card in slot 7:

1.Remove the Rear Cross Brace. Refer to item 14 in Figure 7 on page 9.

2.Do the following:

a.Remove the slot cover for slot 7 and retain the screw.

b.Insert the DX8100 I/O card into the slot 7 opening and secure the I/O card bracket with the screw.

c.Insert the 4-wire DX8100 power plug into the I/O card power connector CN302.

d.Insert the 5-pin Alarm and Relay cable into the DX8100 I/O card Alarm and Relay connector CN303. The other end of the cable inserts into the optional Capture Card. For information about installing the optional Capture Card, refer to Installing the Capture Card on page 12.

e.Insert the 32-pin ribbon cable into the video connector CN304.

3.This completes installation of the DX8100 I/O card. Continue to Installing the Capture Card on page 12.
