TimeScan

Your VCR is equipped with the TimeScan function. TimeScan allows noise free pictures to be displayed on your TV screen in the forward and reverse search modes. Audio will be played back at normal speed during any of the TimeScan modes (pg. 39). TimeScan allows you to view a program in search mode while listening to the audio.

To increase the speed in the forward direction, press

 

and release £ repeatedly to select the various

To decrease the speed in the forward direction, press

and release ª.

To play in reverse slow motion, and in reverse play

mode, continue to press ª repeatedly after

selecting all the forward slow motion modes.

(Refer to the chart on page 39 for playback speeds).

To resume normal playback, press PLAY.

If the superimposed indication jitters vertically during TimeScan, adjust until the optimum condition is achieved by using manual tracking (pg. 26).
