You can directly program the VCR’s timer to record up to 8 shows, as far as a year in advance. Remember, the clock must be set before you can program the timer (☞ pg. 8 or 9).

| Press SET +/– to set the month, then press SELECT. The | |||
| day display begins blinking. Repeat the procedure to set | |||
5 the day, start time, stop time, channel and tape speed. | ||||
| To set the channel you can also use the DIGIT keys. |
●Do not use the SET – button to set the date.
●If the line input is to be used as a source for a Timer Record event please select "AUX" as input channel and set Cable Box output to "OFF" (☞ pg. 17). Cable Box timer recording and control by the VCR is no longer possible.
**You can record selected programs at the same time every weekday, or once a week. Before entering the month or day, press DIGIT key “8” (DAILY) or “9” (WEEKLY). Either "DAILY" or "WEEKLY" appears. Press again and "DAILY" or "WEEKLY" disappears. For weekly recording, the desired date for the day of the week must be entered.
