The section around the start of each alarm recording is played back for about 5 seconds.

*Playback may start a few seconds after the actual start of the alarm recording.

*If the interval between alarm recordings is short, the tape may play back continuously for 5 seconds or more.

1* Sound is not output.

Press the [SEARCH] button twice in the Stop mode.

[The Alarm Scan mode is engaged and the [ALARM SCAN] indication

is shown on the monitor screen. The [ALSC] indication is shown in

the display’s record/playback speed mode indication section.

The tape is automatically rewound and played back repeatedly.

To execute repeat playback, set <REPEAT PLAY> in <VTR MODE> to “ON”.

Auto rewind

When the tape ends during recording, playback, or forward search, the VCR automatically rewinds the tape to the start and enters the Stop mode.

To auto-rewind the tape, set the <AUTO REW> menu switch in <VTR MODE> to “ON”.

[The VCR fast-forwards or rewinds the tape from the current position and the section around the start of each alarm recording

Set to “ON”.

Press the [PLAY] button when you want to start playback. [Normal playback starts and the Alarm Scan mode is canceled.

Set to “OFF”.

To cancel alarm search or alarm scan, press the [STOP] button, [PLAY] button, [REVERSE] button or the [REW]/[FF] button (whichever is opposite to the current tape running direction).

When the end or beginning of the tape is reached during alarm search or alarm scan, the mode is canceled and the Stop mode is engaged.

Note:

When the <REPEAT PLAY> or <REPEAT REC> menu switch is set to “ON”, the tape restarts playback or recording after rewinding to the beginning.

Date/time search

A section recorded at a specified date and time is searched and the Stop1mode is engaged.

Press the [SEARCH] button three times in the Stop mode.

[The Date/Time Search mode is engaged and the date/time

search setting screen is shown on the monitor. “td 0100” is shown on the VCR’s display.

*To cancel the Date/Time Search mode, press the [SEARCH]

2button once.

Press the [SET +] or [SET –] button to set the “date” you want to

3search (01 - 31).

4Press the [SHIFT f] button so that “hour” blinks.

5Press the [SET +/–] button to set the “hour” you want to search (00 - 23).

Press the [FF] button or [REW] button.

[The VCR fast-forwards or rewinds the tape from the current

When the counter memory function is ON, the VCR automatically enters the Stop mode when the control tape counter reaches “00:00:00” or when the reel tape counter reaches “0000” in the FF or REW mode.

5To activate the counter memory function, set <CNT MEM SW> in <VTR MODE> to “ON”.

If the specified date/time is the same as the timer-recording start

 

time, the VCR may not operate correctly.

Date/time search cannot be executed if no date and time are

 

available in the search direction.

Engage the Stop mode and press the [FF] or [REW] button.

[When the counter reaches “00H00M00S” or “0000”, the Stop mode is automatically engaged.

Note:

Repeat record/play, auto rewind and alarm search/ alarm scan/date and time search have priority over the counter memory function.
