Advanced Operation

Pass-through RGB video

Input 4 is for passive RGB video. No scaling or video functions are available for this input. Only switching of the RGB signal is provided from the front panel or the RS-232 control. All color and sync signals are passed through an internal distribution amplifier and then to the output connectors. Blank, freeze, the on-screen menu, and other video functions are not available. Audio is an active function, and all audio functions are still available for Input 4, even though the menu cannot be displayed.

Output RGB connectors

The dual RGB outputs of the IN1403 are individually buffered (including signals from Input 4). They may both be connected simultaneously without degradation of the other output. Both are capable of transmitting the RGB signal over 100 feet or more through high quality coaxial cables.
