Setup Menu Operation

EZ Scan (Channel Search)

Automatically finds all channels (analog and digital) available through the antenna inputs, and stores all the active channels in the channel list. Inactive or weak channels may not appear on the list. In that case, add missing chan- nels manually with the Ch. Edit menu. The channel list created here can be shown on the Ch. Edit menu.

1Press MENU to display the on-screen menu.

Select the SETUP menu using 3 / 4 then press (SELECT) or 2.

EZ Scan will be highlighted.

Press (SELECT) or 2.

3 STD will be highlighted.

In most cases you can scan for available channels correctly by selecting

STD cable band. Try the other bands if you cannot find any channel with STD cable band.Select a cable band (STD, HRC, or IRC). Ask your cable service

5The channel search process begins.Press (SELECT).

When channel scanning is complete,

the lowest channel number

6 found appears on the TV screen.

 

Ch. Edit (Add-delete Channels)

This feature allows you to add or delete channels from memory manually and create your own Surf list, with up to 10 favorite channels. Press SURF on the remote control when a channel is highlighted.

1Press MENU to display the on-screen menu.

Select the SETUP menu using 3 / 4 then press (SELECT) or 2.

Ch. Edit will be highlighted.

Select the Ch. Edit using 3 / 4 then press (SELECT) or 2.

3 Channel Edit menu appears.

To create a custom list

1. Select a channel to add or delete using 3 / 4 / 1 / 2 on the channel editing menu.

2. Press (SELECT) to add or delete the channel from memory.

To create a Surf list

1.Select a channel using 3 / 4 / 1 / 2 on the channel editing menu.

2.Press SURF to add the channel to the SURF LIST.

• Only the channels in the custom list can be added to the surf list.

4 Press MENU to return to the previous menu or press EXIT on the remote control to return to TV viewing.
