| The information for the TV Guide On Screen system is downloaded from the | |
| Antenna or Cable sources. To download information, it is necessary to set up | |
| the TV Guide On Screen system in the following manner: | |
| 1. Bring up the Setup Menu | |
| The first time you set up the HD DVR, the Setup menu is displayed automat- | |
| ically. (See Figure 1) | |
| After initial setup, you can bring up the Setup menu manually. | |
| Follow the instructions on the screen. | |

| Follow the instructions: | |
| “Do you have cable service?” select “No”. | |
| “Do you have a cable box?” select “No”. | |

| Follow the instructions: (See Figure 2) | |
| “Do you have cable service?” select “Yes”. | |
| * If you have cable box. | |
| “Do you have a cable box?” select “Yes”. Otherwise “No”. | |
| * If you have a cable box the cable box configuration menu appears: | |
| Select your cable box brand from the list. | |
| Select cable box output channel: 2, 3, 4, VIDEO 1/AUX (you need to check | |
| your cable box hardware configuration). Be sure that the HD DVR and your | |
| cable box are linked using the cable box controller cable. | |

| In this configuration setup, the Cable box must be ON and the HD DVR OFF | |
| for the TV Guide On Screen system to receive information. | |
| 2. Finally, the Setup Complete display appears. | |
| Press (SELECT) to leave the TV Guide On Screen system setup menu. | |

| 3. Select Exit option to Quit. (See figure 3) | |
