Timer Recording using ShowView system

Thanks to this programming system, you no longer need to tediously enter the date, programme number, start and end time. All the information needed by the DVD Recorder + VCR for programming is contained in the ShowView programming number. This ShowView number is found in most TV listings.

1Insert recordable media such as DVD±R, DVD±RW, recordable VHS tape.

2Press [TIMER].

The ÔTimer RecordingÕ menu appears.

Enter the entire ÔShowViewÕ number. This number is up to 9 digits long and can be found next to the start time of the TV programme in your TV listings magazine.

e.g.: 5-234-89 or 5 234 89

Enter 523489 for the ÔShowViewÕ number.

If you make a mistake, you can clear it with [Ï]. You can also select Target, Quality and Repeat by using [ÏÃ]. To change status of each item, use [É ].

4Press [ENTER] to confirm.

5The decoded information appears after

confirmation. You can go back at any time to change the information by pressing [ENTER] and select ÔEditÕ on the menu as explained above. Select the appropriate input field using [É ]. If required, change the information using [É ].

If all the information is correct, press the [ENTER] button. The programming information is stored in a TIMER block.

6Press [TIMER] to exit the Timer Record List.

7Timer indicator will light or start blinking. You must power off the DVD Recorder + VCR to start the Timer Recording.

ShowView is not available for some countries.
