Setup menu

Setup Menu Overview

The DVD Recorder + VCR Setup menu includes six categories, including: Installation, Recording Options, Languages, Preference, System Info and Disc Options. Press [SETUP] and [É ] on the remote control unit to view the first and second levels of the Setup menu.

Menu Navigation

1Press [SETUP]. The Setup menu appears.

2Use [É ] to select the desired category.

3While the desired category is selected, press [Ã] to move to the second level.

4Press [ENTER] to move to the third level.

5Use [É ] to select the desired setting, then press [ENTER] to confirm your selection. Some items require additional steps. Press [MENU] at any time to return to the previous menu.

6Press [SETUP] to exit the Setup menu.

INSTALLATION Settings

Manual Set

To complete the set-up of your DVD Recorder + VCR when the auto set has not stored all of the channels or when you wish to store a new channel.

1Press [SETUP]. The Setup menu appears.

2Use [É ] to select ÔInstallationÕ and press [ENTER] to confirm.

3 While ÔInstallationÕ is selected, press [É ] to select ÔManual SetÕ.

6Use [ÏÃ] to select the desired ÔStandardÕ (PAL- BG, PAL-II, PAL-DK, or SECAM-L).

This set is equipped with the Multi-Tuner. You can search broadcasting of other countries. If the set can not search the channels, please Re-Install. (see page 19.)

8Use [ÏÃ] to select the desired broadcast system (Antenna or Cable).

Antenna: If you are using a standard antenna to receive channels.
