Display if no Wide Screen Signal is Received

Most programs are broadcast together with a signal describing the format of the picture. With this function you can set the way the picture is displayed, if no such signal is received. This function is only available, if you have set the picture format to AUTO.

The following settings are available :

Normal:

The format 16:9 is suppressed. The format 4:3 is not adapted a black area is displayed on the left

 

and the right.

Full:

The format 16:9 is displayed as broadcast. The format 4:3 is horizontally spread.

Panorama: The format 16:9 is displayed as broadcast. The format 4:3 is horizontally spread.

In this the outer areas of the picture are modified more than the centre of the picture.

Set Picture Mode
