Audio language

For DVDs

A movie or video programme may be recorded in more than one language (up to 8) onto the disc. So you can hear the dialogue in your own language (if available) or in the original language of the movie. Set-up, page 23.

Start playback using PLAY button.

Press the red button; you see the "

" audio

 

display on-screen with the number and (possibly)

 

abreviation of the language.

Select a language using the

arrows.

To exit dialogue display, press the red

button.

Subtitles on / off

Press the green button; you see the subtitles

(possibly) abreviation of the language.

3 Use the arrows to switch the subtitles on "" resp. off "".

4 To exit subtitle display press the green button.

Subtitles in many languages (up to 32) may be recorded on a DVD. It may help to understand if the audio is not available in your language. It may even help to learn another language. Set-up, page 23.

When no subtitles are recorded, " •" will be displayed instead of the language number.
