Search can be engaged two ways: By pressing the direct number buttons, or by pressing the chapter/ track button and then pressing the number buttons.

Direct search using number buttons.

Direct search using number buttons.

Example 1: When selecting chapter/track number 3, press the 3 button.

Example 2: When selecting chapter/track number 17, press +10 button → 7 button.

During the stop mode on a DVD, use the “Searching for a Desired Video Scene (Title Search)” (Page 45)

When the chapter/track number is large

1 Press CHP/TIME button.

Chapter/track numbers flash on screen.

On DVDs, the menu may be displayed during the stop mode. In this case, please refer to “Chapter Number Search with the menu” on the right.

2 Select chapter numbers directly with the number buttons.
