•Depending on the input signals, the border of the picture may be hidden, displayed in black, or noisy.

Dot by Dot

(for VGA, SVGA, XGA, WXGA, and SXGA sources only)

The “Dot by Dot” picture is non-scaling display. Depending on the input signal formats, picture is displayed with sidebars and/or bars at the top and bottom. (Example: VGA input source)

55UL605U, 46UL605U, 40UL605U specifications

The Toshiba UL605U series of televisions, which includes the 40UL605U, 46UL605U, and 55UL605U models, offers an impressive combination of features and technologies that cater to a variety of viewing needs. Designed with a focus on delivering high-quality picture and sound, these models stand out in the competitive landscape of smart TVs.

One of the most notable features of the UL605U series is its 4K Ultra HD resolution. With four times the pixel count of Full HD, viewers can enjoy incredibly sharp and detailed images, enhancing the overall viewing experience. This higher resolution is particularly beneficial for watching movies, sports, or playing video games, where clarity is paramount.

The series boasts Toshiba's ClearScan technology, which reduces motion blur for fast-moving scenes, making it ideal for action-packed films and sports broadcasts. This technology ensures that the viewer experiences smooth, fluid motion without compromising picture quality, providing an immersive viewing experience.

The UL605U series is equipped with HDR (High Dynamic Range) capabilities. This feature allows for a wider range of colors and brightness levels, resulting in more vibrant and lifelike images. HDR content brings out the subtle details in both bright and dark scenes, making it perfect for cinematic experiences at home.

Smart TV functionality is another significant advantage of the UL605U series. These models come with integrated Wi-Fi, allowing users to access popular streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube directly from the television. The intuitive interface ensures easy navigation, making it simple to find and enjoy a wide variety of content.

Additionally, the UL605U series supports DTS TruSurround technology, which enhances audio quality by creating an immersive sound experience. This feature is designed to provide a wider soundstage, making it feel as if the audio is coming from around the viewer, rather than just from the TV speakers.

The design of the UL605U TVs is sleek and modern, featuring thin bezels that maximize the screen area and provide a contemporary aesthetic that fits well in any living space. Furthermore, the televisions offer multiple connectivity options, including HDMI and USB ports, enabling users to connect various devices such as gaming consoles, Blu-ray players, and external storage.

In summary, the Toshiba UL605U series, with its models 40UL605U, 46UL605U, and 55UL605U, delivers an exceptional viewing experience through its 4K resolution, HDR support, ClearScan technology, and robust smart features.
