Using AVL
With the AVL (Automatic Volume Leveler) on, the TV will keep the sound level constant among different TV stations when viewing TV programs. To active the AVL function, go to the Audio menu, press 
to highlight AVL, and press / 
to select On.

Using the Speaker Out feature
Be sure you have correctly connected your TV to an external audio system, if you want to activate the Speaker Out function. For connection method, refer to "Connecting an audio system" on page 12.
To use the Speaker Out function:
In the Audio menu, press 
to highlight Speaker Out and press / 
to select Off to switch off the main TV speakers.
