1Open the display (PDV-LC20 only).

2Slide the DISC COVER 2 OPEN catch to the left to open the disc cover.

Always use the DISC COVER 2 OPEN slide catch; never force open the disc cover.

3Load a disc.

The recorded side of the disc should be face-down in the player (for double- sided DVDs, the side you want to play should be face-down).

Make sure that the disc clicks into place properly.

4Push the disc cover shut.

5Press 3 to start playback.

If a menu screen appears, see the following page for how to navigate it.

Adjust the volume using the rotary volume control on the right side of the player.
