Switching subtitles

Many DVD discs have subtitles in one or more languages—the disc box will usually tell you which subtitle languages are available. You can switch subtitle language anytime during playback.

1Press SUBTITLE repeatedly to display/switch the subtitle language.

•To switch off subtitles, press SUBTITLE then CLEAR.

•To set subtitle preferences, see page 45.

When playing a DVD disc recorded with dialog in two or more languages, you can switch audio language anytime during playback.

1Press AUDIO repeatedly to display/switch the audio language.

•To set audio language preferences, see page 45.

Note

You can also switch subtitles and audio language from the Other screen of the Setup menu. See page 50 for more.

It may also be possible to select subtitle and audio languages from the disc menu. Press MENU or TOP MENU to access this.
