With multiplex discs, you can practice karaoke with or without a guide vocal.

¦The guide vocal is output through the right speaker.

¦Guide vocal is not output.

¦Guide vocal volume adjustment is not possible even when the GUIDE VOCAL indicator is lit.

If this happens, press the GUIDE VOCAL button once more. You will then be able to use the GUIDE VOCAL volume level knob.

Pressing the GUIDE VOCAL button has no effect if the disc you are playing does not have a guide vocal recorded on it (it must a multiplex disc). With this kind of disc, do not press the GUIDE VOCAL button.

Tips

Concerning the Guide vocal

With LDs (multiplex, without TOC), CDs, CD-Gs, external sources, and Video CDs, the mode changes each time you press the button as follows.

With non-digital audio sources or LDs with a TOC, the mode changes each time you press the button as follows.

When Quick Turn is ON, switching is the same as above with discs that have a TOC.
