VOCAL PARTNER

With this function, when you sing, the recorded sing- er’s voice cuts out. If you stop singing, the singer’s voice cuts back in. This is a handy function when practicing new songs and duets alone.

This lets you use regular DVDs, LDs, CDs, and tapes as karaoke software by reducing the volume of the re- corded vocals. You can also use this function when you want to sing along with only multiplex CDs, CD-Gs, Video CDs, and externally input tapes.

¦To switch OFF, continue pressing the button until the indica- tor goes out.

¦With some discs and tapes, even when you sing, the recorded sing- er’s voice volume level does not decrease.

¦When the indicator above the GUIDE VOCAL volume level knob is lit, you can turn the knob to adjust guide vocal volume level.

¦With LDs (multiplex with no TOC), CDs, CD-Gs, externally input tapes, and Video CDs, the mode changes as follows when you press the VOCAL PARTNER or ONE-TOUCH KARAOKE buttons.

¦With non-digital audio sources or LDs with TOC, the mode changes as follows each time you press the button.
