One-Touch Karaoke

– DVD/Super VCD/Video CD/CD

When you are playing a normal music disc, you can press this button and remove the singer’s voice so that it sounds just like a karaoke disc, allowing you to enjoy karaoke easily with your favorite music.

Press ONE-TOUCH KARAOKE.

The ONE-TOUCH KARAOKE indicator lights on the player.

Press ONE-TOUCH KARAOKE once more to cancel this mode.

Note

If you are playing a karaoke disc with vocals on it, pressing ONE- TOUCH KARAOKE will not necessarily remove the vocals. In this case, refer to page 40, “Changing the setting of vocals”.

Reserving a Desired Song

– DVD/Super VCD/Video CD/CD

You can previously reserve the next song to be played while enjoying karaoke.

4 Press the number button(s) to select a song.

Input the track number with CDs and Super VCDs/ Video CDs.

Input the title or chapter number with DVDs.

• To reserve number 16, press +10 and 6.

In the case of DVD discs, the player automatically determines whether the disc should be played by titles or by chapters (the user is unable to select whether playback is performed according to titles or chapters).

5 Repeat steps 2 through 4 to reserve other discs and songs.

After the currently playing song is finished, playback of the selected title, chapter or track starts.

Notes

Up to 24 songs can be reserved.

Reserved songs play one after the other, without SINGLE PLAY (page 36) pauses between them.

When reserved songs are finished playing, they are sequentially erased from the program.

When the last reserved song starts playing, the program is canceled.

Press NEXT ¢, and the next reserved song starts playing. Even if you press PREVIOUS 4, you do not return to the previous reserved song. Instead, you return to the start of the currently playing song.

1 Perform steps 1 through 9 on page 36.

2 Press PROGRAM.

3 Select the disc containing the song to be reserved with DISC.

To stop playback

Press STOP.

The programming operation is canceled. (The programming details are stored.)

To continue program playback

1 Press PROGRAM.

2 Press 3 PLAY.

The reserved song will then begin to be played.

To confirm reservation details

Press DISPLAY if program playback is in progress.
