STEP 2 : Connecting to an amplifier/receiver

It is possible to playback 3D videos when the connected TV and amplifier/receiver are 3D compatible.

Set “HDMI Video Mode” and “HDMI Audio Output” to “On” (> 30).

Set “Digital Audio Output” depending on the connected amplifier/receiver (> 29).

The HDMI connection supports VIERA Link “HDAVI Control” (> 25).

When connecting to an amplifier/receiver that is not 3D compatible, you can enjoy 3D videos by connecting this unit to the TV via an HDMI terminal (> 8), and to the amplifier/receiver via the OPTICAL terminal.

When connecting a TV (> 8) with HDMI AV OUT terminal, set “HDMI Audio Output” to “Off” (> 30).

Set “Digital Audio Output” depending on the used terminal and connected amplifier/receiver (> 29).
