Viewing JPG Files

Slide Shows

You can view JPG picture files stored on CD-R/RW discs individually or in slide show mode on your TV. JPG is the standard format for pictures stored on digital cameras, the Internet and many other applications.

When you insert a disc with JPG files, a Slide Show will automatically begin.

Viewing thumbnails of your JPG pictures

Thumbnails are smaller sized versions of your JPG files that allow you to preview many files on a single page.

2 Press the ZOOM key repeatedly to zoom in or out. You can zoom in up to 400%, and out to 25% of the original image size.

Rotating and Flipping JPG Images

While a JPG is displayed, you can rotate the image or flip it

horizontally or vertically.

1 To rotate an image in the clockwise direction, press the RIGHT ARROW key.

1 During slide show playback, press the DIGEST key at any time to see a thumbnail preview of your JPG files. A maximum of 9 images are shown on each screen.

Press the LEFT ARROW to rotate the image counter-clockwise.

2 To flip the image horizontally, press the UP ARROW key.

Use the PREVIOUS / NEXT keys to navigate to the next

 

or previous screen of thumbnails.

Use the ARROW KEYS to navigate the thumbnail

 

screen, moving to the image you wish to display.

Press ENTER to display the file on screen.

Using the zoom function with JPGs

You can zoom in or out on JPG images.

1 While the picture is displayed, press the ZOOM key. The zoom status is shown in the upper left of the screen.

To flip the image vertically, press the DOWN ARROW key.

The starting value is 100% normal size.

JPG notes

ŸJPG files must be stored on discs with the extension “JPG”, such as “picture1.jpg”, otherwise the files will not be recognized.

ŸYou can have a maximum of 250 files or folders.

ŸCD-R/RW discs containing JPG files should be in ISO/9660, Mode 1, Closed Session format for best compatibility.
