Installing batteries in the remote control

Operating the remote control

This unit comes complete with batteries for the remote control. When installing batteries, be sure to take note of the polarity markings on the inside of the battery compartment and match them up with those on the batteries.

When using the remote control, be sure to stay within a 30 degree angle of the sensor on the receiver. Keep in mind that any obstructions between the remote control and the receiver will effect performance.

Notes on batteries

ŸIf the remote control functions better when it is closer to the unit, the batteries may be running low.

ŸIn case of any leakage of batteries, dispose of the batteries right away and avoid touching the chemical discharge. Make sure to clean the remote control’s battery compartment before installing new batteries.

ŸDo not mix batteries of different types, or use old batteries with new ones.
