White balance

The human eye adapts to changes in light so that white objects

still appear white even when the light changes. With DV camera, however, the color of the subject is influenced by the color of the light surrounding it. This color adjustment is called “white balance adjustment”.

This setting allows you to set the white balance when taking photographs under specific lighting condition.

To set the white balance, first press the button. Then choose the white balance

you prefer by using the

or

buttons, then press OK button to confirm.

Auto: Automatic adjustment

[ ] Daylight: For recording outdoors on a bright day

[ ] Shade: For recording outdoors on a cloudy day

[ ] Fluorescent-1: Cool white fluorescent (W3900-4500K)

[ ] Fluorescent-2: Day white fluorescent (W4600-5400K)

[ ] Lamp: For recording under lamp light
